Sunny and Warm
It was another pleasant and beautiful day in the Classic City! The weekend got a nice start today, as we hit a high of 87°F, which is only one degree below average for this time of year. Humidity increased slightly today, but we were still dry overall. Saturday promises warmer temperatures and sunny skies. Our low humidity should also continue through Saturday. For more details, keep on reading!
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a calm wind. Patchy fog after 5 a.m. EDT. Low near 63°F.
Saturday: Sunny and warm, with a southwesterly wind around 5 mph. Patchy fog eroding away by 9 a.m. EDT. High near 88°F.
High pressure will continue to have a grip on the Southeast on Saturday. Since the overnight low temperatures will drop near the dewpoint, expect some patchy fog during the early morning hours. However, that should erode away by around 9 a.m. EDT or so. The air will still be dry, which means things will warm up pretty quickly at the surface. We should see an overall increase in high temperatures for Saturday, though it shouldn’t be drastic by any means. The climatic average high temperature for June 10th is 88°F, and I’m expecting us to linger around that mark. Some of us may even see 90°F. We should be dealing with sunny skies throughout the day. It’s a perfect day to head to the lake if that’s your thing. Enjoy your Saturday!
